Live Music: St Marcus
St Marcus is the solo project of Tauranga-based vocalist and guitarist Mark Joseph Raymond (MJ). Blending smooth vocals with a versatile guitar style, his sound moves comfortably between soul, R&B, pop, and laid-back acoustic interpretations, making him a natural fit across a wide range of live settings.
Originally from the Bay of Plenty, Mark has built his reputation through both solo performances and as a core member of the band Black & Gold, a collective known for delivering high-energy performances across weddings, events, and major stages throughout Aotearoa. The band’s broad repertoire spans everything from classic sing-alongs to contemporary hits, reflecting Mark’s own adaptable approach as a performer.
As St Marcus, he brings that same experience into a more stripped-back format - focusing on groove, feel, and connection with the audience. Whether performing relaxed acoustic sets or more upbeat material, he is known for reading the room and shaping the music to suit the moment.
With a background grounded in live performance and a strong presence on the New Zealand events circuit, St Marcus offers a polished, flexible sound that translates seamlessly from intimate environments to larger-scale occasions.

Featuring Todd Sutton and Grant Wills. Todd, with his killer vocals, acoustic guitar and decades of stage experience, Todd knows how to read a crowd and bring every song to life. And Grant, a virtuoso guitarist and harmony master, Grant adds rich layers and groove to every performance.
Together, they are Crowded Trousers - two mates, two mics, and one epic night of music.
Live Music: After Hours
After Hours is an Auckland-based duo (also performing as a full band) featuring vocalist Racheal Lee and multi-instrumentalist Ernie Semu. Known for their versatility and effortless chemistry, the group delivers everything from soulful jazz and R&B to contemporary pop and classic dancefloor favourites.
Both Racheal and Ernie bring extensive careers as highly respected session musicians and live performers. Ernie, with over four decades in the industry, has worked as a musical director, arranger, and performer across television, cabaret, and major live venues, including long-standing residencies in Auckland’s top nightlife circuit and at SkyCity Auckland. His career includes backing prominent New Zealand artists, contributing to TV productions, and performing nationally across genres ranging from jazz and reggae to pop and R&B.
Together, After Hours are regular performers at premium venues in both Auckland and Hamilton, valued for their professionalism, musical depth, and ability to read a room. Whether as an intimate duo or a full band lineup, they bring a polished, high-calibre sound shaped by decades of collective experience on stages, in studios, and alongside some of New Zealand’s most established acts.

Sax-It is a smooth, professional New Zealand duo pairing soulful vocals and guitar with expressive saxophone, delivering stylish cover sets across jazz, blues, pop and well-known classics. Featuring Sopo Su'a, and Auckland based vocalist of Samoa-Tuvaluan descent with a versatile range, as well as internationally respected saxophonist Tim Hopkins. Together, Sax-It delivers polished crowd-friendly performances.
Live Music: Daughters of Ally
Daughters of Ally is a New Zealand family band comprised of sisters Jessie and Georgina, raised in a musical household where their father played in local showbands and encouraged their early performances. Both sisters are multi-instrumentalists and vocalists: Jessie began performing as young as age 13, and Georgina at age 6. Their repertoire spans decades from 1940s classics through current Top 40 hits, reflecting both their broad live experience and strong musicianship. The duo performs regularly across the North Island and bring together tight harmonies, polished vocals and a deep connection forged through lifelong collaboration.

Dan McIntyre is a Waikato-based country musician and singer-songwriter, celebrated for his engaging live performances and heartfelt storytelling. With a career spanning festival appearances, touring with bands like Tin Angels, and residencies at top Waikato bars as well as SkyCity Hamilton, Dan has become a respected figure in New Zealand’s country music scene. His sets blend acoustic skill, soulful vocals, and crowd connection, making him a standout performer in the region’s live music circuit.
Live Music: Coupe De Ville
Coupe De Ville is a live music duo/band from Hamilton and the wider Waikato, fronted by seasoned musician Dan McIntyre alongside fellow performers Ed Huirama and Jase Crawford. Known for their vibrant stage presence and crowd‑friendly repertoire, Coupe De Ville specialises in delivering high‑energy covers across decades and genres, with a particular love for country‑flavoured music that resonates with local audiences.
Live Music: Komiti
Komiti is a covers duo from Pāpāmoa in the Bay of Plenty featuring drummer Stevie Cat Jnr. Stevie Cat Jnr is a highly regarded New Zealand drummer who has performed extensively both locally and internationally, including touring and recording work with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Kimbra and Australian hip-hop artist Seth Sentry.
For this performance, Stevie will be joined by local musician Ben Sunn, who is filling in for TJ. Ben is an experienced guitarist known for his versatility across rock, reggae and R&B, with a strong presence in the local live music scene.
Together, the duo bring a groove-driven live set spanning rock, reggae, R&B and classic Aotearoa favourites.

Josh Pow is a talented Tauranga-based singer and guitarist, originally from the UK, known for his smooth vocals, expert musicianship, and easy-going stage presence. He offers a polished yet relaxed live performance style that spans acoustic covers of 70s and 80s classics through to modern pop and rock influences, with nods to artists like John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, and Six60. With over a decade of experience performing across New Zealand, Josh has become a sought-after musician for weddings, private functions, and live venues alike, delivering a professional, high-quality experience that consistently delights audiences.

Mitch & Rich is an Auckland-based father and son duo featuring Richard Murray and Mitch Murray on guitars and vocals. Together they deliver a dynamic live sound built on tight musicianship, strong vocals and a natural onstage chemistry that only comes from years of playing together. Richard “Rich” Murray is a highly respected guitarist on the New Zealand live music circuit and a sought-after session player. With decades of experience, he has performed at countless corporate events, private functions and live venues, earning a reputation among musicians as a dependable and accomplished player with deep knowledge of a wide range of styles. Performing alongside his son Mitch, the pair draw on a broad repertoire of popular songs across genres and eras, delivered with the polish of seasoned professionals and the unique dynamic of a family collaboration.
Live Music: 2Fold
John and Ness of 2fold are a highly experienced vocal and instrumental duo known for versatile, polished live performances. John is a multi-instrumentalist and lead male vocalist with over 15 years in the entertainment industry, international touring experience, and formal classical guitar training through Trinity College London.
Ness is the lead female vocalist and a vocal coach with more than 20 years’ experience. Her credits span television, radio, major live events, backing vocals for Tami Neilson, and a live performance alongside Michael Bublé. She also fronts her own Stevie Nicks and Adele tribute shows and performs in New Zealand’s ABBA Heaven show celebrating ABBA.
Together, John and Ness deliver engaging live shows built on musical depth, strong vocals, and confident stage presence.
St Patrick’s Day Celebration: Twisty Willow
Twisty Willow is a dynamic husband‑and‑wife Celtic duo featuring Barb Bycroft (fiddle and vocals) and Wes Bycroft (bodhrán, vocals and dance‑calling) based in Waipu, New Zealand. With roots in Irish and Scottish music combined with performance experience across pub, festival and ceilidh settings, they deliver a full, rich sound built from their finely crafted instrumental accompaniment and expressive vocals. Their repertoire includes traditional songs, lively dance‑sets and original material, and they are known for bringing both musical authenticity and audience‑inviting energy to every performance.

Live Music: Vibez
Vibez is a Hamilton-based live music duo led by guitarist and vocalist Anthony Stickland, delivering a versatile mix of well-known songs across pop, rock, soul and classic favourites. Anthony is a highly experienced performer on the Waikato live music circuit, known for his strong vocals and confident guitar work. Alongside his duo performances, he is a regular musician at SkyCity Hamilton, performing both as a solo artist and as a member of the band Tone Collective, part of the venue’s live entertainment programme.
Give & Gather for Jedda
Join us on Monday 9 March from 4pm-9pm for a special fundraising event to support Jedda and her family. All are welcome - no bookings needed.
The evening will feature live music from local favourites Let's Go Descarrego! and Celine & The Doctor, spot prizes throughout the night, and a family-friendly atmosphere where the community can come together for a great cause.
Highlights include a raffle for a $1,400 Dive Zone kayak package, with the draw taking place live at 7:30pm. Raffle tickets are available at Dive Zone Whitianga prior to the event.
50% of all profits from the evening will go directly to Jedda and her family.

David Shanhun is an Auckland‑based guitarist, vocalist and loop‑artist with thousands of live performances to his name. His repertoire spans acoustic sets and full live looping grooves, enabling transitions from chilled‑out atmospheres to dance‑floor energy. Noteworthy career highlights include a #1 single on iTunes NZ with his cover of “Jessie” (released with his father), opening for international acts such as Foreigner and Heart, and performing at corporate events for the likes of Air New Zealand, The AA Association and Coca‑Cola. David Shanhun and Marika Balzat bring the vibes to weddings, events, and functions of all kinds.
They’re equally at home creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere during the afternoon or pre-function, as they are turning up the energy later in the evening with foot-stomping, sing-along moments that keep the dance floor moving all night.
Often described as a blend of classical elegance and contemporary charm, their sound also leaves room for a touch of folk-fuelled party energy—perfect for when the night really gets going.

Rowdy’s Rose are an international, multi award-winning husband and wife country duo from New Zealand. As singer-songwriters and recording artists, they are known for authentic storytelling, strong harmonies, and a contemporary country sound rooted in classic influences.
In 2024/25, Rowdy’s Rose were triple USA award winners and, in 2025, received ten USA award nominations across the ISSA and Josie Awards, alongside recognition as New Zealand Songwriter finalists. Their work has gained attention both locally and internationally, reflecting a growing presence within the global country music scene.
Rowdy’s Rose perform across a range of live settings and events, bringing a polished yet genuine approach to every performance.
Live Music: Steve Crossland
Steve Crossland is a Hamilton-based guitarist and vocalist with decades of live performance experience across New Zealand. A seasoned musician on the Waikato circuit, he has performed regularly at venues including SkyCity Hamilton as well as numerous bars, events and private functions. Steve is also known for his work with regional covers band Boogie Monsta, performing vocals and guitar in a repertoire that ranges from easy-listening acoustic through to funk, rock and classic dance favourites. Across his long career he has played at major events such as Balloons over Waikato, Fieldays and international shows in Australia and New Caledonia, building a reputation as a versatile and experienced live performer.
Live Music: Let's Go Descarrego!
Let’s Go Descarrego! is a Whitianga‑based duo featuring Stu Pedley and Leo Magri, drawing on lively Brazilian rhythms and New Orleans groove combined with folk‑storytelling and high‑energy showmanship. Their performances blend rhythmic percussion, guitar/vocals, and narrative songcraft to create a full, rich sound that captures curious characters and twisted love‑stories in a distinctly local yet globally‑inspired style.
Live Music: Celine & The Doctor
Celine Toner and Ian “The Doctor” Jeffries have been performing together for over 20 years, and now call Whitianga home, where local audiences are lucky to experience their exceptional live shows. Over two decades, they have toured the length and breadth of New Zealand multiple times with Limelight Production shows, captivating audiences in both intimate venues and large-scale events.
Celine’s career has taken her around the world, performing on some of the most iconic stages, including The Grand Ole Opry, Melbourne Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House, The Bob Hope Centre in the US, and the Chinese National Theatre in Beijing. She has toured Australia twice with The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and completed multiple tours of New Zealand and the USA. In her illustrious career, Celine has collaborated with New Zealand music legends such as Jodi Vaughan, Brendan Dugan, Patsy Riggir, Suzanne Prentice, Gray Bartlett, Midge Marsden, Larry Morris, Ray Columbus, Tina Cross, and many more.
Celine was also a member of the female band GIRLSTALK, performing on opening night at Auckland Casino, and has graced all the stages of both Auckland and Hamilton Casinos over the years in a variety of shows, more recently performing alongside her daughter Samantha.
Ian “The Doctor” Jeffries is an accomplished guitarist with decades of experience performing with top New Zealand artists, including Brendan Dugan, Shane, Larry Morris, Tom Sharplin, Midge Marsden, Liam Ryan, Ray Columbus, and others. He was an associate member of The Mods in their later years, and after five years performing in Perth, Australia, he has returned home to rejoin Celine, bringing his seasoned musicianship and dynamic stage presence back to New Zealand audiences.
Together, Celine & The Doctor deliver a polished, engaging, and versatile live show, blending world-class vocals, masterful guitar work, and decades of shared experience. Now performing regularly in Whitianga, they are a treasured part of the local music scene, thrilling audiences in bars, casinos, festivals, and private events alike.
Live Music: Edwin Judd
Edwin Judd is an Auckland-based musician who has spent several years performing full-time both as a solo artist and as frontman for his band The RVMES. His musical style spans a diverse range of genres including pop, reggae, R&B and Top 40 hits, making him comfortable in both relaxed acoustic settings and more dynamic live contexts. In interviews he speaks of his songwriting work with The RVMES and the progression from home studio recordings to full studio production for their album Simple Things.

Jodie Langdon is a Bay of Plenty–based vocalist and guitarist known for her warm stage presence, polished delivery, and versatile repertoire spanning contemporary pop, acoustic classics, soul and laid-back favourites. With a naturally engaging performance style, she moves comfortably between relaxed background ambience and more upbeat sets suited to lively audiences.
Jodes previously held residencies at SkyCity Adelaide, where she performed regularly across premium hospitality environments, refining her ability to read a room and tailor her set to suit diverse crowds. That experience is reflected in her professionalism, consistency and confident stagecraft.
